Acoustical Properties Of Metal Oxides Solution In Aqueous Medium At Room Temperature

Abstract

Ultrasonic velocity, viscosity and density studies of metal oxides solutions i.e. (ZnCl2+CdCl2) have
been carried out in water (H2O) at room temperature (303 K). From velocity, density and viscosity
data values, the various acoustical parameters namely, specific acoustic impedance, adiabatic
compressibility, internal pressure, viscous relaxation time, relative association, Gibbs free energy,
intermolecular free length have been calculated. All these parameters have been discussed
separately to throw light on the metal oxides- solvent interactions.
