Fungi in Focus: Exploring the Uses of Mushrooms

Abstract:
Mushroom civilization is a sustainable and economically feasible practice that utilizes agrarian waste to produce nutrient-rich food and medicinal products. Generally cultivated species like Agaricusbisporus (button mushroom), Pleurotus spp. (oyster mushroom), and Lentinula edodes (shiitake mushroom) thrive on substrates similar to straw, sawdust, and compost under controlled environmental
conditions (Singh et al., 2020). Mushrooms are lauded for their high protein content, salutary fiber, and bioactive composites with Antioxidant, Anti-inflammatory, and vulnerable-boosting parcels (Chen et al., 2021). also, the civilization process contributes to environmental sustainability by recovering organic waste and reducing gas emigration. Economically, it provides a scalable income source for pastoral communities and entrepreneurs, taking minimum land and investment (Kumar et al., 2019). As a
functional food and raw material for bioproducts like enzymes and biofertilizers, mushrooms offer multifaceted benefits across health, husbandry, and assiduity.
