Gradient HPLC Method Development and Validation of Bromazepam Tablets

Abstract

Bromazepam are frequently administered to hospitalized patients to decrease anxiety and prevent stress ulcers,
nervousness and tension. A rapid, sensitive, efficient, and reproducible method for the determination of Bromazepam
has been developed using high performance liquid chromatographic method. This method involves separation of
Bromazepam on a reversed phase Kromosil C18 (150×4.6mm, 5μm) column using UV detection. The elution was done
using a mobile phase consisting of Ethanol and water (30:70 v/v) on HPLC equipment. An external standard calibration
method was employed for quantization. We are now reporting a gradient HPLC method for the Determination of
Purity, accuracy, linearity and Assay of Bromazepam tablets
